Physicalism. Scientific seminar of the Center for Consciousness Studies

The seminar was dedicated to Daniel Stoljar's book "Physicalism".

Roughly speaking, physicalism is synonymous with materialism in modern philosophy, it is the thesis that everything is physical or derived from it. However, such an intuitively clear definition can lead to a dead end when trying to understand in detail what exactly the thesis of physicalism implies. Ultimately, it may turn out that such a position cannot be consistently formulated.
